Innovative Cleantech Company, Mass Energy Lab, Inc. Partners with Proven Industrial Space Heating Solution Manufacturer, Cambridge Engineering.

CAMBRIDGE, MA.,-- Mass Energy Lab, Inc., a Cambridge, MA based Commercial Energy Efficiency Solutions firm, finalized an arrangement with Cambridge Engineering, manufacturer of the premier industrial space heating system and pioneer of direct gas-fired heaters for industrial applications. Mass Energy Lab officially added the Cambridge S-Series Blow Thru® Space Heater to their product lineup in June and has already received a notably positive response from industrial building owners in the New England area.

Cambridge Engineering's proprietary technology allows the S-Series Industrial Space Heater to consistently out-perform competitors, as it achieves 40-70% energy waste reduction with a 1-3 year payback period and has the highest BTU/CFM ratio in the category. Cambridge Engineering is the only manufacturer certified to ANSI Standard Z83.4/CSA 3.7 with a heater that will achieve a max discharge temperature of 160°F. The S-Series has even been embraced by the major Massachusetts Utility companies for custom rebates which has had a notable impact on Mass Energy Lab and Cambridge Engineering's efforts to deploy the product on a large scale throughout the state.

With over $2 million worth of projects in the proposal stage, including projects with several Massachusetts staples in warehousing and manufacturing, Mass Energy Lab CEO, Mo Nariani, feels that the market response validates the company's decision to add the product to their growing product offering. "We are extremely thorough in our product selection process. We were drawn to Cambridge Engineering because they made a concerted effort over the last half century to be the best in class in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness. The fact that the S- Series Blow Thru heater vastly out-performs other substitute and alternative products is evidence of such. We are truly excited to work with Cambridge Engineering to promote mass deployment here in Massachusetts and beyond." Mass Energy Lab's CFO, Nihar Parikh is quick to add, "The positive response is derived from the strength of the product and the company. Ultimately, it's all about having the most effective and impactful products".

Mass Energy Lab Energy Engineer Developing Innovative Renewable Energy Solution For Homes In Third World Countries.

McKinley Dorne, a recent addition to the Mass Energy Lab research and development department, is currently developing an innovative residential waste digester designed for energy production in homes in third world countries. Dorne, an Electrical Engineer and Certified Energy Manager, has developed the solution over the past two years and plans to present the technology to the board of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2012.

Dorne, a contributor to several major renewable energy projects throughout the Greater Boston area, joined Mass Energy Lab, Inc. in March, 2011. He indicates that he was drawn the opportunity because of the company's emphasis on validating energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. Dorne notes "One of the issues I noticed within the industry was that there was no shortage of products that claimed to reduce energy consumption, but often, the claims were untested or inconsistent. A major driving force behind Mass Energy Lab is alleviating this problem. The company's goal to provide proven and effective energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions on a massive scale was definitely aligned with my own personal goal."

A native of Haiti, Dorne hopes that the products he develops as well as those he researches and evaluates at Mass Energy Lab will be transferable to his home state and other developing countries.

A New Kind Of Cleantech Company, Grows Leaps And Bounds

Mass Energy Lab, Inc. will more than double in size in respect to the number of employees and the square footage occupied by April 1, 2011. The company is in the process of hiring multiple engineers, project managers, and business development professionals and will relocate to a larger facility in East Cambridge to accommodate its growing operational needs.

Mass Energy Lab, Inc., a Cambridge based energy efficiency solutions firm shifted its efforts from traditional energy retrofits to identifying, testing, and facilitating the installation of innovative energy efficiency and cleantech products suited for large scale commercial facilities. Since altering their business model, the company has garnered positive attention from local, state, and international industry leaders, and landed several major clients, including two of the largest publicly traded Real Estate management firms in the country.

Mass Energy Lab Founder and CEO, Mo Nariani, notes “Our timing was ideal. There was a major pain in the market for someone to help building stakeholders navigate the sea of energy efficiency and cleantech products. That’s where we come in. Because we objectively verify the effectiveness of energy efficiency products in a test environment and in operational facilities before actively promoting them, we have a level of credibility the sets us apart from other energy efficiency product distributers in the market“.  The company forecasts substantial revenue increases in the coming months as several products transition from the evaluative phase. Nihar Parikh, Mass Energy Lab’s CFO and Co-Founder quotes, “substantial capital is being allocated towards resources needed to discover, test and deploy products, which will enable us to craft a revenue generation platform resulting in reduction of energy consumption in commercial facilities in the Greater Boston area.”
